JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking an Intermediate Account Manager to support and grow Levio's presence within the Government of Canada. This role is ideal for a driven, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about helping public sector organizations achieve their objectives through innovative technology and consulting solutions.
As an Intermediate Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted partner to federal government clients, working closely with delivery teams, leadership, and proposal teams to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and ensure successful outcomes. The successful candidate will combine strong business acumen with exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to support Levio's continued growth in the National Capital Region. Candidates should possess experience working with Government of Canada clients, account management responsibilities, team leadership experience, and proposal development activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Government of Canada stakeholders and client representatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client priorities, challenges, and business objectives.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts and support business growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Participate in the preparation, coordination, and review of proposals, bids, and client presentations.
- Support account planning activities, including identifying new opportunities, monitoring contract activity, and developing engagement strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align client requirements with available resources and delivery capabilities.
- Represent Levio in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities within the National Capital Region.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns, risks, or escalation items.
- Contribute to account growth by identifying emerging client needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, reports, and executive briefings for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Government of Canada procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and public sector priorities.
- Support contract discussions, renewals, and negotiations in collaboration with leadership.
- Foster collaboration across business development, recruitment, consulting, and project delivery teams to achieve client success.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Public Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in account management, client relationship management, business development, or a related client-facing role.
- Demonstrated experience working with Government of Canada departments, agencies, or public sector organizations.
- Experience leading teams, coordinating stakeholders, or supporting project delivery activities.
- Experience contributing to proposal development, bid preparation, or capture activities.
- Strong understanding of Government of Canada procurement and contracting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build credibility and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Strong written communication skills, including proposal writing, business correspondence, and executive reporting.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Spoken and written English required.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience in management consulting, information technology services, digital transformation, or professional services is considered an asset.
- Government of Canada security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one, is considered an asset.
